Good morning, Potomac! It’s Monday morning, and time to get back to work with today’s “5 Things.” Among our offerings: weather, some interesting tidbits and a few quick notes.
1. This week will be varied with rain and clouds throughout the week. High temperatures may get into the 60s, while lows may drop to the high 20s. Today will be cloudy, with a high of 46, according to the National Weather Service. Tonight will be cloudy with lows dropping to 33.
2. Police responded to a robbery at the M&T Bank on River Road in Potomac last Friday, after a suspect made off with an undisclosed amount of cash. Those with any information on the crime are asked to the Major Crimes Division at 240-773-5100. Those who wish to remain anonymous may call Crime Solvers of Montgomery County toll-free at 1-866-411-TIPS (8477).
3. A recent spike in burglaries and home invasions around the 1st and 2nd Police Districts have left residents shaken around Potomac and Bethesda.
