Adams Morgan Favorite Opens Bethesda Restaurant Today

Himalayan Heritage opened in Adams Morgan in 2008, where it has enjoyed top customer ratings as a popular lunch spot, Bethesda Magazine reports.

A popular Adams Morgan restaurant will open a second location today in Bethesda, serving Indian, Nepalese and Indo-Chinese cuisine, Bethesda Magazine's Table Talk blog reports.

Himalayan Heritage opened in Adams Morgan in 2008, where it has enjoyed top customer ratings as a popular lunch and dinner spot. Today at 5 p.m. the restaurant will hold a soft opening for its new location at 4925 Bethesda Avenue, according to the Table Talk report.

The restaurant will serve a limited menu through Sunday, before unveiling the full menu at its scheduled grand opening celebration Monday. According to Table Talk, the menu will be similar to what is offered in Adams Morgan – traditional Indian curries, Nepalese momo, vegetarian dishes and biryani.

The Adams Morgan Himalayan Heritage is one of my favorite restaurants in DC - can't wait to check out the Bethesda outpost!
