Readers' Choice: Meiwah Restaurant
The Chevy Chase eatery won 21 percent of the vote in the Patch "Readers' Choice" Chinese restaurant contest.
In our inaugural "Readers' Choice" contest, 91 voters cast their ballots for the restaurant that was best suited to finding the perfect General Tso's chicken or Buddha's Delight.
And the winner is: Meiwah Restaurant.
Receiving 20 votes in the contest, the casual dining restaurant offers lunch and dinner seven days a week.
Meiwah also boasts a sushi bar and serves Japanese as well as Chinese cuisine.
You can find the menu for Meiwah posted on its website.
Foong Lin Restaurant received 16 votes in the "Readers' Choice" contest, followed by Shanghai Village with nine votes. Check out the poll below to see all of the votes.
Our readers recommend Potomac’s Shanghai Café and Jade Billows Chinese Restaurant, Chevy Chase’s P.F. Chang's China Bistro and North Potomac’s China East with nearly equal enthusiasm.
Next week, Patch is looking for readers' favorite workout spot. The voting begins at 9 a.m. on Monday.

Mei Wah is right next to my office in Chevy Chase...only been there once but it was AWESOME. A deserving winner of the poll.

I've never been, although I've eyed it many times... I will have to try it soon! Any suggestions for particularly good dishes?
