Burglary, Thefts From Vehicles Reported In Potomac

The 1st District Montgomery County Police Department released crime information for Oct. 8-16.

 

A burglary and several thefts from vehicles were reported in Potomac in the Montgomery County Police Department crime summary for the period of Oct. 8-16. 

  • A residential garage burglary occurred in the 9200 block of Aldershot Drive in Potomac between 10:30 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 15, and 6:45 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 16. There was no forced entry, but property was taken.  
  • Two thefts from vehicles occurred in the parking lot of the Potomac Animal Hospital, Potomac on Tuesday, Oct. 9, between 11:30 a.m. and 1:45 p.m. The vehicles had their windows broken. One victim had a purse removed and the other had a purse, camera and cell phone removed.    
  • Two thefts from vehicles occurred in close proximity in this Potomac beat overnight between Monday, Oct. 15, and Tuesday, Oct. 16:
    • Between 9 p.m. and 7:30 a.m. in the 8400 block of Bradley Boulevard. Cash was taken.
    • Between 9:15 p.m. and 7:45 a.m. in the 8600 block of Chateau Drive. An iPad and cash were taken.
