Churchill Highlights: Post Your Photos and Stories
Churchill student members of the Young Republican's Club installed 1,000 American flags along the hillside of the WCHS stadium this week to honor the victims of the 9/11 tragedy. Led by President Matt Anderson, a junior, the club chose a prominent place on the school grounds to help the Churchill community remember the date. The group works to promote civic awareness and participation for all students, while exploring the ideas and policies of the Republican Party. Courtesy of Mary Ellen Mengucci

Members of the Churchill Freshman Class of 2016 were treated to a free picnic lunch on Thursday, Sept. 13, at the WCHS Shepherd Stadium at Danver Field. The picnic is part of an annual "Welcome to Churchill" program sponsored the Churchill DAWGS, a PTSA committee dedicated to providing drug-free and alchohol-free activities for Churchill students. More than 20 parent volunteers served burgers, pulled chicken sandwiches, chips and soda. This event serves as an opportunity for the merged Cabin John and Hoover students to get better acquainted.
