Comptroller Peter Franchot will be at the Bullis School in Potomac Wednesday for the Parent Encouragement Program's 30th Anniversary.
Franchot will present a proclamation at 6:30 p.m. in honor of the Parent Encouragement Program, a local nonprofit with a mission of strengthening parent, child and teacher relationships.
Following the anniversary reception, Dr. Kenneth Ginsburg will host a talk at 7:30 p.m. called "Building Resilience: How to Raise Successful Children and Adolescents."
A pediatrician and author, Ginsburg wrote, "Building Resilience in Children and Teens: Giving Kids Roots and Wings," and, "Letting Go with Love and Confidence: Raising Responsible, Resilient, Self-Sufficient Teens in the 21st Century."

Franchot has been a leader against gambling in Maryland for years, and cost the state $100's millions that could have gone toward education. The only thing I will ever do that involves him...is vote against him!
