Potomac Village Farmers Market is up and running today with new seasonal produce and flowers to decorate your home.
Check out this blog post from PVFM market master Suzanne Hermes for a list of what's for sale, and a bit of PVFM history.
NEW TODAY – McCleaf’s cantaloupes! Watermelons, too. The “Pickleman” returns to the market Thursday. Big sunflowers, fresh pies, and All Things Olive!
In 2011, there were over 20 in Montgomery County each with its own community feel. In acknowledgement of the value farmers markets provide to the local economy and community, the U.S. Department of Agriculture has recently proclaimed August 5 – 11, 2012 as National Farmers Market week.
Next week we’re celebrating National Farmers Market Week. Make sure to let us know how you’ll be celebrating.
The market is open every Thursday from now through October. Hours are 2 p.m. through 6:30 p.m. For more information about market vendors, or for information on how to become a vendor, visit the website here http://www.potomacvillagefarmersmarket.com/
