Latin American Festival, Potomac Fall Bazaar, Designer Handbag Bingo and More in Montgomery County this Weekend

1. Saints Peter and Paul Antiochian Orthodox Christian Church Fall Bazaar

Where: Saints Peter and Paul Antiochian Orthodox Christian Church, 10620 River Rd Potomac, MD 20854

When: Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 21, 22 and 23. Times are 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, and noon to 4 p.m. Sunday.

Description: This annual Potomac bazaar is famous for its middle eastern food, crafts, art and jewelry.

2. Latin American Film Festival

    Description:  23rd Annual Afl Latin American Film Festival features 50 films from Latin America, Spain and Portugal.

    3. “Be the Peace” Meditation Hour – Globally-synchronized Meditation Event

      4. National Weather Service Forecast Office Public House

        Where:  43858 Weather Service Rd, Sterling, VA 

        When: Saturday, September 22, 2012, 9:00 am

        5. Ladies' Hike Out: Seneca Creek Greenway Trail

          Where: Brookside Nature Center, 1400 Glenallan Ave, Wheaton, MD

          When:  Saturday, September 22, 2012, 9:30 am

          Description:  Women gather together for a 3-4 mile hike starting at the Black Rock Mill in south Germantown and heading toward the Potomac.

          6. Designer Handbag BINGO

            Where:  19951 Father Hurley Blvd, Germantown, MD 

            When:  Friday, September 21, 2012, 6:00 pm

            Description:  The Knights of Columbus Council #11024 will host its second annual “Designer Handbag Bingo” fundraiser on September 21 at Mother Seton Parish located off Father Hurley Blvd, in Germantown MD.  Proceeds from the event will help fund community programs.

            7. Walk/Fun-Run to support Germantown HELP

              When:  Saturday, September 22, 2012, 9:00 a.m.

              Description:  Fun-run/walk to support Germantown HELP.  To participate, bring donations of non-perishable food, especially peanut butter, spaghetti sauce and cereals.  Please do not bring foods with expired dates or dented cans.  Event will be held rain or shine.
