Montgomery County has an award-winning line-up of fall speakers, including one Pulitzer Prize winner and another Pulitzer nominee, for its 25^th annual Literary Luncheon series hosted by Montgomery County Friends of the Library.

The series hosts four events each year at Strathmore Mansion in North Bethesda, and features lectures from local authors, book signings and lunch.

Washington Post writer and Pulitzer-nominated author Donna Britt will kick off this year’s series on Oct. 18, discussing her new book “Brothers(& Me): A Memoir of Loving and Giving.” The book explores gender roles and race through personal experiences and has a five-star rating on Amazon.com.

On Nov. 15, another Washington Post writer and Pulitzer-winner, David Maraniss, will speak about his book “Barack Obama: The Story.” The book uses interviews to tell the life story of Obama and his rise to the U.S. presidency.
