After a two-hour delay last week canceled visits to several Potomac schools by Montgomery County Public Schools Superintendent Joshua Starr, we thought he’d never get the chance to hang out with our adorable elementary students.
We were wrong.
On Thursday Starr made stops in Potomac to the recently re-opened Beverly Farms Elementary School and Bells Mill Elementary School to visit classrooms.
“I’m completing last week’s community day today,” Starr tweeted on Thursday. “Gonna get my #kidfix.”
During his visits, Starr patrolled the school grounds with Bells Mill 5th graders, counted to 100 with Bells Mill kindergarteners and measured data with the schools 3rd graders, before moving on to Beverly Farms where he worked on friction experiments and sinking battleships.
