Armed Robbery, Burglaries Reported In Potomac

The 1st District Montgomery County Police Department released crime information for Feb. 9-28.

 

One armed robbery, two burglaries and 10 thefts from auto were reported in Potomac in the Montgomery County Police Department crime summary for the period of Feb. 9-28.

An armed robbery occurred at the CVS, 7955 Tuckerman Lane in Potomac on Monday, Feb. 13, at 1:17 a.m. The suspect assaulted the victim and obtained property.

The suspect is a black male, 45-50 yrs. old, 6’1”-6’3”/190-200 lbs.

    A residential burglary occurred in the 10600 block of Rivers Bend Lane in Potomac on Friday, Feb. 10, at 6:40 p.m. Forced entry; property taken.

    A residential burglary occurred on the 9500 Block of River Road between Friday, Feb. 10, and Monday, Feb. 13. Forced entry; property taken.

      Ten thefts from vehicles occurred overnight from Monday, Feb. 27, to Tuesday, Feb. 28, in the Potomac area. All of the victims had unlocked doors or ‘unknown entry’. Cash was the primary target. Affected streets included: the 12000 block of Coldstream Drive, 11800 block of Kim Place, 11700 block of Rosalinda Drive, 11700 block of Enid Drive and the 11800 block of Milbern Drive.
