Several local students participated in Brian Ganz's Master Class at Strathmore on Feb 3.

Chaoyang Wang, 14, a North Potomac freshman at Wootton High School, Ofer Kimchi, 17, a Potomac student at Charles E. Smith Jewish Day School and Nicholas Troccoli, 17, a Bethesda senior at Maret School in D.C. received special, one-on-one instruction from Ganz.

Ganz returns to the Music Center at Strathmore on Saturday, Feb. 11, for the second performance of his ambitious "Extreme Chopin" quest to perform all of Frédéric Chopin’s piano music in front of live audiences.
