Report: DC Will Have Fifth Worst Thanksgiving, Black Friday Traffic

Travel will peak between 3:30 p.m. and 5 p.m. Wednesday, according to the Huffington Post.

 

Washington, DC, will be the U.S. city with the fifth worst traffic congestion on Thanksgiving and Black Friday, according to a Huffington Post report.

In the DC region, rush hour will peak Wednesday between 3:30 p.m. and 5 p.m., according to the report. Travel will take 30 percent longer than usual on average.

Black Friday shoppers will be clogging the roads as well. On Friday, traffic across the country is expected to peak between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. and 7 p.m., according to the report.
