Potomac Brownie Troop No. 4843 is working hard this year on water conservation and pollution projects.

Brownie girls from the third grade at Wayside Elementary School in Potomac participated in the H2O Summit in Gaithersburg on Saturday, March 16.

"Organized by the Montgomery County Department of Environmental Protection and Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission, the H20 Summit included education on water-related issues that are healing our local ecosystem and overall community, including stormwater education and pollution prevention, and water quality improvement initiatives," according to a statement from the troop.
