A Visit to the Spy Museum

Live & Learn Bethesda, 4805 Edgemoor Ln, Bethesda, MD | Get Directions »
$13.00

The Spy Museum’s general exhibition features the largest collection of international espionage artifacts ever placed on public display, offering a rare glimpse into the whispered world of covert operations and the silent, unknown people behind them, making it an experience like no other.   Along with the general exhibit, a special exhibit: “Exquisitely Evil: 50 Years of Bond Villains” will be featured.   James Bond may be the best known spy in the world, but he is nothing without his enemies.  This exhibition explores the power of the Bond series through the unique lens of his villains: their diabolical schemes, lairs, henchmen, and weapons.  The exhibit places Bond and the villains in historical context, exploring how the evildoers and their plots have changed to reflect their times.  Students will explore the connection of fantasy espionage to reality through; classic film and audio clips, interviews with real intelligence community members, psychological profiles of the villains, immersive environments and exciting interactive experiences.

Peter Earnest, the founding Executive Director of the Spy Museum and a 35 year veteran of the Central Intelligence Agency will give special insights to the exhibits and the world of espionage.

This includes admission to museum.
