DESCRIPTION:Join us at Fletcher&rsquo\;s Cove! We'll be meeting at 10 am 
 at Fletcher&rsquo\;s Cove to clean up the picnic area and surrounding tr
 ails. This cleanup is open to all ages\, and we'll provide all the neces
 sary supplies - just bring a water bottle\, sunscreen\, and casual cloth
 ing! This event is part of the National Park Service's Canal Stewards pr
 ogram\, engaging volunteers to become long-term caretakers of a site wit
 hin the C &amp\; O Canal National Historical Park. Typical activities in
 clude picking up trash\, pruning vegetation\, or repairing the towpath a
 nd trails. No registration is necessary and all ages are welcome. Contac
