Long & Foster’s Potomac/Cabin John Office Holds Clothing Drive Benefitting Strive DC

Long & Foster® Real Estate, Inc., the largest independent residential real estate company in the United States, is pleased to announce that its Potomac/Cabin John office will host a clothing drive to benefit Strive DC. The office will accept donations of new and gently used professional clothing and accessories between now and the end of November. Strive DC is a local organization that helps individuals in the Washington metro area find jobs and maintain their employment through a variety of training and other programs, including clothing donations.

“This is our first year supporting Strive DC, and we’re thrilled to help our neighbors in the DC area suit up for the workforce,” said Ellen Katz, branch manager of the Potomac/Cabin John office. “The clothing drive is just one way in which Long & Foster and our real estate professionals can give back to the community, and we’re committed to making it an annual event.”

Recommended donations include suits, dress pants, skirts, blazers, sport coats, ties, belts and other accessories. Donations can be dropped off at the Long & Foster Potomac/Cabin John office, located at 7719 Tuckerman Lane in Potomac, Md. You can also call the office at 301-469-4700 to arrange for one of the Long & Foster real estate agents to pick up your items.

“Long & Foster is committed to giving back to the neighborhoods in which we work, and community service is an essential part of our company culture,” said Gary Scott, president of Long & Foster Real Estate, Inc. “At a time when many local organizations have a great need for extra support, we are honored to have an opportunity to assist them in getting the job done.”
