New Arts-Inspired Bilingual Preschool Opens in Potomac: Special Enrollment Deal for New Families!
The Creative Arts School is excited to announce its grand opening at 10610 Falls Road in Potomac, with a special offer of one week of free tuition for new families.
The preschool’s success in its original Bethesda location inspired the launch of a second branch in Potomac. “Our preschool offers a uniquely child-centered, creative approach to learning,” director Norma Cabrera says. “We feel it’s a wonderful way to help children grow and thrive.”
“We’re also excited about the fact that the Potomac location is completely Spanish/English bilingual,” Cabrera notes. “From a developmental standpoint, early childhood is the perfect time for children to learn a second language.”

“In addition to the basics for children ages 2-12, we also provide art classes, music and drama classes, language immersion programs in Spanish and Russian, and monthly field trips for our older students,” Cabrera says. “We also provide plenty of time for outdoor free play, which is a vital part of early childhood development.”
The Creative Arts School curriculum is inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach to learning, which was developed in Italy after World War II. It is a community-centered educational model that focuses on the development of the whole child.

“Under the Reggio Emilia approach, children take an integral, active role in their own learning, in conjunction with parents and teachers,” Cabrera says. “It fits in very well with our arts-based model.”
To celebrate the opening of the new Potomac location, the Creative Arts School is offering one full week of free tuition to new families who enroll their children by the end of March.
“We want to extend a warm invitation to families in and around Potomac to come in for a visit and see what we have to offer,” Cabrera says. “We believe our unique, arts-inspired approach to learning helps children reach their full potential, and we’re so excited to share it with a new part of the community.”
The Creative Arts School is a high-quality, arts-focused, Spanish/English bilingual preschool and after-school program currently enrolling children ages 2-12 at 10610 Falls Road in Potomac (conveniently located at the corner of Falls Road and Democracy Road).
