5 Things To Know This Week: Glenstone Sewer Extension, Olympics, Best Of

Good morning, Potomac! It’s Tuesday morning, and time to get your day started with these “5 Things.” Among our offerings: weather, updates about the Glenstone sewer extension and what you can expect coming up this week.

1. We can expect warm weather this week, as temperatures stay in the 80s and 90s. Highs will reach 92, with lows in the 60s and 70s. Today will be partly cloudy with a chance of showers and thunderstorms, according to the National Weather Service. Today’s high will be 91, with tonight’s lows dropping to 68.

2. 3. The Montgomery County Council is scheduled to vote today on a in Potomac. Despite opposition by the county planning board and some citizen groups, the council in a straw vote indicated last week that it would approve the Glenstone Foundation’s request to install a 3,000 foot sewer extension on the property that would facilitate an expansion of the 25,000-square-foot gallery.
