5 Things To Know This Week: Weather, Community Events, New Bloggers

Check out our calendar for more of the week's events.

Good morning, Potomac! It’s Monday morning and time to get your week started with these “5 Things.” Among our offerings: weather, a recap of to expect today and some notices for the week ahead.

1. Temperatures this week will stay mild, with highs reaching the low-70s and lows in the 40s. Today will be cloudy with a high of 72, according to the National Weather Service. Tonight’s low will drop to 47.

2. It was a beautiful weekend, and there was plenty to do. Were you one of the many who attended Park After Dark or the benefit concert at Potomac United Methodist Church? If so, send us your pictures and thoughts about the events, and we’ll feature a community gallery.

3. Do you have an event that you're trying to promote on Patch? Looking for volunteers? Trying to promote a group exercise adventure? Do you have a church potluck that you want everyone to know about? Post it yourself on Patch! It's super easy; check out a quick how-to-video here.

4. Are you a social media buff? Do you love to share and connect with your community online? Check out the Potomac Patch Twitter account, and follow it for all the latest Potomac updates, especially regarding breaking news. We also have a Facebook page where we poll readers on those fun questions we’re just itching to ask.
