Train travelers may have a delay Tuesday morning as the result of downed wires in Perryville, officials said.

Overhead wires caused Amtrak to suspend service between Philadelphia and Baltimore for two hours Tuesday morning, according to NBC Washington.

"The catenary problem in the Perryville area has been repaired," the Maryland Transit Administration reported before 8 a.m.

Because of the issue, Amtrak trains are still operating "with severe delays," the Maryland Transit Administration reported.

On the other hand, MARC trains may have delays of about 8 to 12 minutes, according to the administration.
