Last Chance: Gallery B March Exhibit Closes This Weekend

Arts enthusiasts, take note. This week is your last chance to check out Mind’s Eye: A Vision of Contemporary Art, the March exhibit at

The exhibit features contemporary paintings by Annapolis artist John Bodkin, a former director of the American Contemporary Gallery in Annapolis whose work is featured in more than 150 collections nationally and internationally.

Bodkin’s work mixes traditional oil paint with street art and spray paint, according to a news release. “I want to speak in the voice that is central in our society,” Bodkin said in the statement.

Gallery B is a new community art gallery managed by the Bethesda Urban Partnership and the Bethesda Arts and Entertainment Exhibit. It’s located at 7700 Wisconsin Avenue, Suite E, in downtown Bethesda. Mind’s Eye: A Vision of Contemporary Art, closes Saturday, March 31. Gallery hours are Tuesday – Sunday, 11 a.m. -6 p.m.
