Patch went out to snap a few photos of community events this weekend.
The Potomac area community headed outdoors this weekend after a long few days of rain and flooding.
The C&O Canal's public preview of Lockhouse 10 went ahead as planned Saturday, despite almost being canceled due to heavy rains and flooding during the week. Area residents who ventured out to enjoy the canal and towpath flocked to the lockhouse, which was packed with visitors for the duration of the preview.
The annual Cabin John Chicken and Crab Feast also took place Saturday at the Clara Barton Community Center. The Cabin John Citizens Association served nearly 2,300 Maryland blue crabs to 510 hungry community members at the event.
