Four choirs will perform a holiday concert on Saturday afternoon.

The sound of children’s voices raised in sweet song is a cherished holiday tradition. One way to enjoy this tradition is with Glorystar Children’s Chorus’ 16th Annual Winter Concert on Saturday, Dec. 10, at .

Glorystar, founded in 1996, has performed at locations from the Kennedy Center to Washington National Cathedral, and has toured internationally including Taiwan, Italy, Hungary and Austria. More than 130 choristers, ages 5 to 18, sing in four groups: Beginning Choir (ages 5 to 7), Training Choir (ages 7 and up), Concert Choir (ages 9 and up), and Chamber Choir (ages 13 and up).

The choir is open to children all over the metro area, but most are from Montgomery County. Many of the children in the multicultural children’s choir are of Chinese descent.
