Aerial Yoga for You, Break Dancing for Your Kid

Cabin John fitness facility Level: A Unique Fitness Club is offering some new and unusual fitness classes this spring.

Does your kid have a penchant for break dancing?

Not to worry—there's a place for that, and it doesn't necessarily have to be in the living room.

Cabin John fitness facility Level: A Unique Fitness Club (7687 MacArthur Blvd.) recently announced it is partnering with The Lab DC, "the only kid-friendly break dancing company in DC," according to a club statement.

"Level's recent partnership with The Lab DC makes it the only fitness studio in the DC area to offer the break dancing programs. The classes represent a revolutionary teaching style and approach to children’s fitness instruction and structure and will be taught to children ages 2 [to] 18," the statement added.

And, if you're looking for something to do while your kid is perfecting new dance moves, check out Level's new aerial yoga and Pilates classes.

Aerial yoga "combines the best of yoga, Pilates and aerial fitness into a workout conducted with a silky fabric sling supported from the ceiling, defying gravity and challenging [a] student’s muscles in new ways."

The club is offering free FlyFit demonstration classes in March. Lean more on Level's website.
