Food Trucks Coming To Potomac

The Potomac Village Farmers Market will host several area trucks this month.

They're calling it "Trucktoberfest" and it's coming to Potomac today.

The Potomac Village Farmers Market, located at the Potomac United Methodist Church every Thursday at 2 p.m., will host a series of food trucks this month. Jumping in on the food truck craze that has rocked the DC restaurant scene, the PVFM market-master says she hopes Potomac families will look to the new offerings each Thursday for dinner time.

As Suzanne Hermes announced in her latest update on offerings at the market:

You've read all about the food truck craze hitting cities around the nation including DC and areas of Montgomery County. Now come taste what the buzz is all about. Each week PVFM will host some of the areas hottest food trucks from around DC and Montgomery County.

We've booked trucks for October 11th & 18th including DC's Carnivore BBQ, Montgomery County's Go Fish, and DC's Fire N Rice) with more in the works. What's for dinner? Think PVFM and Trucktoberfest all this month!

Trucks are confirmed for Oct. 11, 18 and 25. As of Wednesday Suzanne said she was waiting for truck confirmation for today's market.

Carnivore BBQ has confirmed they will be at the market from 3-6:30 pm. The truck is an amazing work of art too. Elaborately painted with a fierce lion, the visual offers a treat for the eyes while the BBQ chicken, pork, and beef is a treat for your buds! See you later :-)

The trucks will stay through 6:30, Lisa.
