Girl Scout Cookie Booth Sales Start in Potomac

Girl Scouts are selling cookies at several locations and events throughout Potomac through March 24. Cookie sales started on Friday, Feb. 22.

Many times, dates and locations for cookie sale booths already are set. 

This weekend, Girl Scouts will sell cookies in and near Potomac at:

• Giant Food (9812 Falls Rd.): Saturday, Feb. 23, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Giant Food (7919 Tuckerman Ln.): Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 23 and 24, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• Potomac Woods Plaza (1087 7 Locks Rd., Rockville): Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 23 and 24, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Sales are dependent, in part, on the weather.

Girl Scout cookies are $4 a box this year. Each Girl Scout troop gets to keep up to 70 cents from every box sold.
