Great Escape: A Beauty Junkie's Haven

A nearby Bluemercury may be just the way to pamper yourself and relax.

recently opened in the Wildwood Shopping Center in Bethesda. Many moms who currently live in Potomac may recall this name from pre-suburban, earlier days in Washington, D.C., since its first store opened in Georgetown in 1999.

Now nearby, it’s a haven for beauty junkies or any woman who wants to focus on herself and find new beauty products to freshen up a look in time for Spring.

While it has the sophistication of an upscale beauty boutique you’d find in a stylish urban area, the staff’s friendliness reminds me more of a neighborhood drug store! The shop is stocked with both luxury and innovative make-up, perfumes, skin care products, hair products and more -- and free samples when you check out.
