Winter Farmers Market Opens In Bethesda

Will you visit the location for your winter produce?

While the Potomac Village Farmers Market is closed for the winter, residents looking for locally grown produce will be happy to know the Bethesda Central Farm Market is now open.

Central Farm Markets announced the opening of its winter market on Arlington Road in Bethesda in a blog post on Patch:

In keeping with its mission of bringing the best in fresh foods to the community, Central Farm Markets will open the Bethesda Central Farm Market this winter with more than 30 vendors. This is the largest number of vendors that have participated and is due to the increased demand for fresh, local produce year-round.

The Bethesda Central winter market, which is held outside from January to March, is not only a place for patrons to continue shopping for local fruits, vegetables, meats, poultry, fish, baked goods and dairy, but it also offers more opportunities for the local farmers to generate income on a year-round basis.
