2,000 Pepco Customers Without Power in Potomac
Potomac continues to suffer more lingering outages than the rest of the Pepco coverage area.
Nearly a week after a derecho storm swept through the area, Pepco is reporting the highest number of remaining Montgomery County power outages are in Potomac, according to the utility's online outage map.
Potomac’s ZIP code of 20854 had just over 2,000 customers without power by 12:30 p.m. Thursday, making it the most affected region in Pepco’s coverage area. The Bethesda and North Bethesda ZIP codes of 20817 and 20852 followed close behind with 1470 and 1314 outages reported.
