Rise and shine, Potomac! Today’s five things you need to know including some rainy weather, local events and deals for dinner.

1. After nearly perfect weather yesterday, brace yourself for another weather rollercoaster. Rain and thunderstorms will likely hit the area after 11 a.m., according to the National Weather Service. The rest of the day will be cloudy with a high around 54 degrees. This evening’s low will be around 47 degrees.

2. The Potomac Lions Club is at the . The Potomac Lions Club is a group of men and women who work together to give back to the society and community. 3. Spring is here, so why not brighten up your yard or home with some daffodils from Child’s National Honor Society. You can buy the flowers at the school between April 18 and April 20. The National Honor Society members will donate all of the proceeds to the American Cancer Society.

4. Stop by this evening for their special of coq au vin — a French braise of chicken that is cooked with wine, lardons and mushrooms. The entrée is $19.95 and bottles of wine are half priced, too.
