Good morning, Potomac! Stay up-to-date with what’s going on in your backyard with these five things to know today.

1. From one gloomy day to the next. Expect more rain and clouds today as there will be a 50 percent chance of rain before noon, according to the National Weather Service. The day’s high will be 60 degrees and the low will be 41 degrees. 

2. All you ladies out there, don’t you deserve a night of fun, fashion and pampering? Swing by from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. to check out the shopping boutique, raffle prizes and drinks. The event, located at , is free to attend.

3. The Potomac Speedskating Club wants you! Stop by the Cabin John Regional Park Ice Rink at 6 p.m. to . The Potomac Speedskating Club welcomes skaters young and old as well all levels of experience. From April through August the club is hosting sessions at the Cabin John Ice Rink on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

4. Middle schools and high school in Montgomery County Public School system are voting on the Student Member of the Board of Education today. The two finalists vying to be the student representative on the Board are incumbent SMOB member Alan Xie, a junior at Richard Montgomery High School, and , a junior at Churchill.
