Good morning, Potomac. It’s time to get your daily dose of local news with the five things you need to know today.

1. Warm weather and possible rain showers are in the forecast. There is a 30 percent chance of rain after noon and a 50 percent chance of rain and thunderstorms in the evening, according to the National Weather Service. The day’s high will be around 79 degrees and the low will be around 66 degrees.

2. The Rotary Club of Potomac is having their at noon at . This week, Ben Noll, an outreach specialist for the Conflict Resolution Center of Montgomery County, will speak. Rotary club gives men and women an enjoyable and organized way to make a contribution to their community. Rotary members meet weekly to plan club, community and international service activities. 3. It’s fine arts month at , so don’t miss an opportunity to celebrate the arts this evening. The Upper School Chorus, Instrumental and Vocal Jazz Ensembles, Connelly Camerata and the Eye Street Boys will have their Spring Concert with shows during school and again at 7 p.m.

4. The Potomac Speedskating Club is opening speedskating up the community. Stop by the Cabin John Regional Park Ice Rink at 6 p.m. to . The Potomac Speedskating Club welcomes skaters young and old as well all levels of experience. From April through August the club is hosting sessions at the Cabin John Ice Rink on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
