Good morning, Potomac. Read these five things you need to know to stay on top of what’s going on in your own backyard.

1.  Today will be mostly cloudy, but still pretty warm. The day’s high will be 67 degrees and the low will be around 45 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. There is a chance of rain after midnight with rainfall amounts reaching less than a tenth of an inch.

2. There will be a public meeting this evening about the preliminary designs for a . The meeting, which will take place at Potomac Elementary School at 7 p.m., will review the project that will provide a safe pedestrian path by filling in a gap of the existing 2.7 miles of hiker and biker path connecting neighborhoods and Potomac Village.

3. Entertain the little ones today at at the . This program, which starts at 10:30 a.m., is ideal for children ages 3 to 5 years old and their caregivers. Children will sing songs, act out finger plays, listen to stories and more.
