Good morning, Potomac! Start the week off right with the five things you need to know to get you informed and up-to-date on what’s happening in the community.
1. It’s a gorgeous day in Potomac, so be sure to wear your sunscreen if you’re going to be outside! It’s going to be a warm one with a high near 92 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. This evening, it will be cloudy with a low near 74 degrees.
2. Since it’s going to be so hot out, why not cool off with a delicious Slurpee? It’s 7-Eleven Day, so celebrate it with a free Slurpee at all store locations. There may not be a 7-Eleven location in Potomac, but there are stores nearby at 10020 Darnestown Rd. in Rockville and at 785 Rockville Pike in Rockville.

3. Enjoy a classic children’s tale at Glen Echo Park with the performance of . Adventure Theatre presents E.B. White's classic story of Wilbur the pig and his spider friend Charlotte. This play is ideal for children ages 3 and older, starts at 10:30 a.m. Tickets cost $17.
4. Are you looking for a good deal or ways to save some of your hard-earned dough? Come back to Potomac Patch later today for a list of some of the week’s great bargains in the area including a discount on pizza at in the Cabin John Shopping Center.
