5 Things You Need to Know Today: July 25

Your daily digest of need-to-know information about Potomac.

Good morning, Potomac! Welcome to Monday. Here are five things you need to know today to stay on top of what’s going on in the community:

1. The extreme heat of last week has lessened a bit, but it's likely to be a stormy Monday... expect a partly sunny day today, with highs in the lower 90s. There's a chance of thunderstorms in the morning, with but showers and storms more definite by afternoon. Monday night will be mostly cloudy with showers and storms likely to continue. Lows will be in upper 60s. Chances of rain are 60 percent, increasing to 70 percent in the afternoon and evening.

2. Restaurant week is over, but there are still nearby meal deals: tonight is "Italian Night" at the Hunter's Inn, when a full Italian meal (salad, entree, bread) is $16.99--including a glass of wine. Vegetarian options also available.
