3. The Rotary Club of Potomac is having their at noon at . This week, the meeting will be a Club Assembly where members prepare for the 2011-2012 programs. Rotary club gives men and women an enjoyable and organized way to make a contribution to their community. Rotary members meet weekly to plan club, community and international service activities. Check out the organization’s website to become a member. 

4. We’re coming up on day three of the practice rounds at the U.S. Open golf tournament at Congressional County Club, and to help celebrate, is offering specials. In honor of the event, the restaurant’s beer garden will be open every night through Sunday. The beer garden will have live music, $5 drinks and pub food specials, weeknight dinner specials and fun for everyone.
