5 Things You Need to Know Today: June 3

Happy Friday, Potomac! Today’s five things to know today include some fun events, things to look for on the site and what’s in store with the weather.

1. After a hot week, Friday will be a little bit cooler. It's going to be sunny with a high near 79 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. This evening will be clear with a low around 52 degrees. There will also be a light breeze with winds reaching up to 11 miles-per-hour.

2. Kick off the weekend with some games, food and prizes! The annual begins at 5:30 p.m. and goes until 8:30 p.m. at the school. The benefit for will have inflatables, carnival games, a live DJ, pizza, hotdogs, hot pretzels, Italian ice, popcorn, candy, ice cream and more.
