Rise and shine, Potomac. It’s another day with another five things you need to know.

1. Another day, another rainstorm. Expect rain before 2 p.m., thunderstorms between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. and thunderstorms again after 5 p.m., according to the National Weather Service. Although rain will be hitting the area, it will still be pretty warm with a high near 54 degrees and a low around 42 degrees.

2. The Rotary Club of Potomac is having their at noon at . Rotary club gives men and women an enjoyable and organized way to make a contribution to their community. Rotary members meet weekly to plan club, community and international service activities. Check out the organization’s website to become a member.

3. Start making plans for the family with the help of the Grab and Go Kids Planner, which will be up on the site later today. Check back for details about a lego-building competition, a book sale and photography contest — all sure to be fun for the entire family.

4. The boys varsity lacrosse team is competing today in what will be a competitive math-up. The team will face an away game against the Collegiate School at 4:30 p.m.
