Brag about Your Graduate on Potomac Patch

It's time to recognize the graduates in Potomac. Whether it's graduating from preschool, high school, college or more, we want to spread the good news!

It’s that time of year again! Students will don the traditional cap and gown, grab their diploma and take on new challenges — and we want you to tell us all about it!

It’s graduation season and whether your kid is finishing preschool and heading to Kindergarten or graduating college to take on to the real world, Potomac Patch is a great place to share their accomplishments and wish them well. And, did we mention it’s free to post a graduation announcement?

Follow these steps to announce a graduation on Potomac Patch:

  • Make sure you are a registered user. If you’re not, click on “Sign Up” in the top right-hand corner of the home page.
  • Once you are logged in, click on the “News” tab on the home page and scroll down to “Announcements.”
  • In the top right-hand corner there is a green box that says, “Announce it to everyone!” Click on that box and fill out the fields of the form. Make sure to choose “Graduation” as the category!
  • When you are done, you can add photos and video of your graduate to make it really special. Baby photos that can embarrass your graduate are certainly encouraged!
  • Scroll to the bottom and click "Post my announcement" for it to be featured on Potomac Patch.
