Where/When: The Billy Goat Trail is a 4.7-mile hiking trail that follows a path between the C&O Canal and the Potomac River within the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal National Historical Park near Great Falls. Access from Great Falls Tavern Visitor Center area or the parking area near Old Anglers Inn.
Why Go: March 20th is the first day of spring. Get the family out to enjoy early blooms along this pleasant trail. Enjoy it or any one of the area’s wonderful parks and trails.
