Patch Picks: Mother's Day Meals

Mother’s Day is Sunday, so show your mom you appreciate her by taking her out for a great meal in the community.

Here is a list of the some of the places around Potomac that are hosting Mother’s Day meals and specials, but the list doesn’t end here. Be sure to add your plans and favorite dining destination in the comment section below.

1. Old Angler’s Inn: Stop by this restaurant for a special menu to celebrate moms, running $79 for adults and $40 for children. The menu will be two courses and a dessert with options like crab cake with seaweed salad, organic muscovy duck breast served with apple potatoes gratinand savoy cabbage, pan seared black seabass and classic crème brulee.

2. Normandie Farm Restaurant: The Mother’s Day Buffet will be available from 10:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. and will cost $40 for adults and $15 for kids 12 years and younger. The buffet will feature menu items like beef stroganoff, penne pasta salad, spinach turnovers, baked country ham and a dessert buffet.

3. Bezu: Stop by this contemporary French cuisine restaurant from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. for the Mother’s Day special. A three-course menu is available at $55 for adults and $25 for children. Call 301-299-3000 to book a table or book online. 

4. Hunter’s Inn: Stop by the Hunter’s Inn for the brunch buffet special or the dinner specials. From 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. grab brunch with some options like carved roast beef, baked ham, grilled salmon, fresh fruit, salad and dessert, which will cost $32. Dinner will go from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and will feature regular menu items as well as items like lettuce wraps, stuffed colossal shrimp and peach pie. Moms and grandmothers get a free glass of campaigne, too! Also, kids under 12 years old are half price.

5. Amici Miei: If you’re mom’s in the mood for Italian cuisine, stop by this restaurant for the regular menu options as well as other daily specials. The menu options include brick over pizzas, pasta, bread and desserts. Make a reservatio by calling 301-545-0966 or booking online.
