Patch Picks: Options for Easter Brunch

Five great options for Easter brunch in or near Potomac.

For many, the thought of Easter conjures up images of church, eggs, bunnies and marshmallow Peeps. For others, the though of Easter means buffets, scrambled eggs and a full stomach.

1. This restaurant is sure to please Easter eaters with a pre-determined three-course menu for the day that will run patrons about $59 dollars each. Included on the menu is lobster bisque, duck risotto, glazed bourbon ham with gourmet macaroni and cheese, braised salmon and homemade tiramisu. 2. : The Easter Buffet will be available at the home of the Popover from 10:30 a.m. until 7:30 p.m. The buffet will cost adults $40 and children 12 years and younger $15. The spread will include items like pancakes, an omlet bar, veal marsala, spinach turnovers, roast top round of beef and baked country ham. To make a reservation call 301-983-8838 or book online.

3. Againn Tavern: Bring the family to this Rockville gastropub for an all-you-can-eat Easter buffet, $32 for adults and $12.50 for children. For kids they promise Easter activities in the Kidz Korner. Call 301-230-9260 for reservations.

4.  Swing by the River Falls Market for all your Easter dining needs and to sample the Easter menu. This year the market is offering rum-ginger glazed sliced ham for $60, Colorado rack of lamb fro $49, shrimp and artichoke risotto with crispy eggplant for $14.99 per pound and a number of side dishes, appetizers, soups and desserts. 5. This restaurant considered the “Cheers of the Potomac” will be serving Easter brunch and a dinner special, too. The brunch menu will have eggs, grilled salmon benedict, steak and eggs and much more. Also, customers will get a free glass of champagne with the purchase of any brunch item.
