PHOTOS: Good Earth Garden Market Welcomes Fall

A variety of colorful mums, decorative ghosts and goblins, and other seasonal favorites are for sale.

Patch stopped by Good Earth Garden Market on Wednesday to check out the pumpkins and other seasonal offerings.

If you love chrysanthemums, you'll revel in the 800 mums currently for sale. There's yellow, burgundy, orange and shades of purple and pink mums signaling fall's arrival Friday, Sept. 23.

"This is the fun time of the year," said Assistant Manager Kelly Grimes. "The weather is coolling down. It's been a long, hot summer. Fall is exciting!"

Grimes said that fall is a good time to plant shrubs and perennials like ornamental grasses. These along with asters, pansies and ornamental peppers are all available at Good Earth.

And if you enjoy decorating for the season, decorative ghosts, scarecrows, witches, and goblins are ready and waiting to accompany you home.
