A in Rockville on Wednesday morning. At 10:40 a.m. on Wednesday, a green 2008 Kawasaki motorcycle was traveling eastbound on West Montgomery Avenue near Hurley Avenue and a gray 2009 Nissan Versa was turning left from westbound West Montgomery onto Hurley Avenue. The motorcyclist — who Montgomery County Police identified as Potomac resident, Mohit K Lal Bhatnagar — fell off the motorcycle and was hit by the Nissan. Police are still investigating what caused Bhatnagar to fall off the motorcycle. Bhatnagar, 48, lives in the 11300 block of Palatine Drive in Potomac.

Potomac Village is looking a little better after construction finished this week on the near the intersection of Falls and River Roads. The median strip, which is between the BP and Sunoco stations in Potomac Village, was paved over and stamped to look like bricks matching nearby businesses, said Jennifer Matheson, the Director of Operations at Potomac Chamber of Commerce. Construction started on Tuesday and was completed by Wednesday afternoon, although it was anticipated to take three days.
