Where to Buy Local Produce Near Potomac

Eating local just got a little easier thanks to a new database recently launched by the Maryland Department of Agriculture. 

Maryland's Best Agriculture allows residents to search for local farmers markets and farms by zip code. Anyone looking to eat local can go to the website, click the tab labeled "Find Me Local..." and enter his or her zip code to find a list of places to get fresh, local fare.  

The website also offers seasonal recipes and links to news related to agriculture and eating locally. 

Farmers and farmers markets also may register on the website to be included in the database.
