Debate: Montgomery County Executive Democratic Candidate Face-Off

For the first time in the 2014 Democratic primary race for Montgomery County executive, all three
candidates will face off in a debate. 



Sponsored by The Greater Bethesda-Chevy Chase Chamber of
Commerce in 

partnership with Bethesda Magazine, the meeting of current County Executive Ike 

Leggett, former County Executive Doug Duncan and County Councilmember Phil 

Andrews will be held at the Hyatt Regency in Bethesda from 7:30 a.m. - 10a.m. 

on Friday, March 7.

Program: This will be a
traditional debate where the
moderator will be the only person able to ask questions during the timed program. The candidates will be
given rebuttal and response time for each question
asked. Each candidate also will be provided with the opportunity to deliver an opening and closing
statement.



Attendees: The program is open
to Chamber members, the general
public and the press. Chamber members: $25; Public at large: $35.

Submit questions: The public is
encouraged to submit questions
for the candidates through a variety of social media options:



• Bethesda
Magazine
 has added a landing

 to its website for residents to submit questions.



• The B-CC Chamber will
accept questions through Twitter (@BCCChamber) using

• The B-CC Chamber will
accept questions through their Facebook page. Questions 

should be submitted directly on the Chamber’s FB page and #MocoDebateQ can 

be used.
