Rupert Boyd, Classical Guitarist from Australia

The John E. Marlow Guitar Series presents the Australian
classical guitarist, Rupert Boyd in concert March 15, 2014 at 8 pm in the Westmoreland Congregational Church at

Rupert Boyd has been described by the Washington Post as
“…truly evocative,” and by the Classical Guitar magazine as “…a player who deserves
to be heard.”  He will perform works by
Dowland, Granados, Bach, Piazzolla and more. (www.marlowguitar.org for more info)

Since playing for us just four years ago, he has concertized
in tours that took him to Australia, China, India and Europe.  Presently,
he is on a 10 city tour of the USA sponsored by the Marlow Guitar Series and
the Embassy of Australia.

A Pre-concert lecture starts at 7:15 pm; the concert begins at
8 pm and a free “Meet the Artist” reception follows the performance.
