Owner Eddie Benaim shut down his Potomac restaurant Bezu last month, but plans to re-open the space in late August or early September as Mix Bar and Grill, "a contemporary American bistro with a Mediterranean lilt," The Washington Post reported.
"No matter what he did at Bezu ... Benaim says he couldn’t shake the restaurant’s reputation as an expensive place to eat," The Post reported. The new restaurant (still at 9812 Falls Rd., Potomac) will be casual, with a long bar and a brick oven.
