National Trails Day

Celebrate National Trails Day with Potomac Conservancy! Volunteers are needed to help restore areas of the C&O Canal towpath surrounding the River Center at Lock 8. We’ll be running activities to include picking up trash, pruning vegetation along trails, and repairing the towpath and trails. Wear clothes that can get dirty- we’ll provide all the necessary tools and equipment. Discover, learn about, and celebrate trails while participating in hands-on trail work projects. No registration necessary.
